Warranty & Spares
This is an area that creates much concern with customers and certainly differentiates quality from lesser products. We have many questions raised over warranty during our pre sales discussions and hopefully the following will help to answer some of these questions and alleviate any concerns.
Almost all bikes purchased over the internet suffer from poor warranty schedules. These warranties' range from six month parts warranties, to only three month parts warranties to no warranty at all, with very few exceptions. So unless you are willing to install parts yourself, you will have to pay a local dealer to install and test these parts, and if no warranty exists, you will have to purchase these parts too. Many will offer to fix a problem if the bike is returned to the supplier, but beware, you will be liable for shipping costs which can exceed £150.
Baotian UK are the official importers for all Baotian bikes & spares. Any other similar product will have been imported independently and will not have the same specification, warranty or post sales support.
Moto GB are the official importers for all Benelli, Keeway, Daelim, MV Agusta & Cagiva bikes & spares. They are one of largest and most respected UK bike importers and provide full spares and post sales support to their dealer network.
All Baotian bikes sold through us have a two year parts and labour warranty which is support by the official Baotian dealer network. (The first years warranty is full, while the second year covers the engine and drive system).
All Keeway bikes sold through us have a one year parts and labour warranty which is support by the official Keeway dealer network.
All Benelli bikes sold through us have a two year parts and labour warranty which is support by the official Benelli dealer network.
All Daelim bikes sold through us have a two year parts and labour warranty which is support by the official Daelim dealer network.
As with all warranties, items that suffer from normal wear & tear maybe excluded at the dealers’ discretion. Examples are tyres, drive belts, brake pads, cables and other general service items. Serving as outlined in the service manual must be maintained else warranties may become invalid.
Spares are readily available for all these products and the above importers hold large stocks to support their dealer network.
